APF BEST LIFTER FORMULA
Depuis les origines, l'argument est le même : qui pousse le plus lourd ? Dans les temps anciens de l'Haltérophilie, le défunt Bob Hoffman a créé la formule Hoffman pour déterminer qui du plus léger ou du plus lourd est le plus fort ! Quand le powerlifting s'est développé, une série de coefficients a été mis en place pour chaque poids pour les hommes et pour les femmes. Ce coefficient multiplié par le total de l'athlète permettait de savoir qui est le plus fort !
Quand l'APF a été créé, le technicien Greg Reshel a créé une nouvelle série de coefficient pour les hommes et pour les femmes. En 2004, Herb Glossbrenner a révisé les coefficient de la formule pour l'APF/AAPF/AWPC ... Pour les Master un coefficient a été rajouté ...
